S & E's Tip #9 ☕️💗

S & E's Tip of the Week: Have a movie marathon week/weekend together!

So I don't know about you Lovelies but S and I love Nicholas Sparks movies. A few years back we were watching one of his movies... I think it was The Notebook but I don't fully remember... whatever it was it was amazing! (This wasn't our first time watching The Notebook... it has been watched multiple times haha) Anyways, after watching the movie we just felt the need to watch pretty much all of Nicholas Sparks' movies within the span of a few days. So we cuddled up and enjoyed. Also, cried a lot.

We've had other movie marathons together but this one just seemed significant to us so we thought we'd use it as our example and it's a great memory we have together to this day! It was so much fun and so nice because no matter what else was going in that week with work etc we were able to just have some relaxation time together and it also felt like a little accomplishment when we finished our theme of movies!

If romance movies aren't your thing, no worries! Pick a theme of movies... it can be Disney movies, movies based on novels, comedy movies, movies with your fav actor/actress in it... anything! Pick something together and set the scene!

Grab some of your fav snacks and put them in some cute bowls

 Have your fav drinks

♡ Turn off the lights.. maybe light a candle or 2 if you'd like

♡ Grab a blanket and cuddle up!

And repeat for as long as you'd like!

Watch a movie a night for the week or 3 in a day.. we're not Netflix, no one's judging here. Too busy during the week? Make it a weekend thing! Have a stay at home full weekend movie marathon date! Watching a nice movie together is great... but having an intentional movie marathon.. with a chosen theme, your fav snacks and drinks, and cuddling up with your person is EVEN BETTER! Sometimes you just need a nice long, relaxing movie marathon hidden away from the world with your person, you know?

And if your movie theme is decently small and you're actually able to watch every movie in your theme but some of the trailers don't seem that good.. don't be afraid to skip it.. we've skipped a few! We tried with one.. we really did.. but we just couldn't do it haha.

We have too many favourite movies (together and individually) so we'll just stick to romance movies for now... here are some of our favourite romance movies if you need some inspiration!

⚠️Warning: They may make you cry.

In no particular order.. (because we wouldn't be able to agree haha)

♡ Five feet apart (there's a scene in this movie that can make me cry on the spot just by thinking about it... trying not to cry right now 😢)
♡ A Walk to Remember
♡ The Notebook
♡ The Fault in Our Stars
♡ The Last Song
♡ Titanic

*Bonus: not particularly for the love story but just because it's always been one of my favs and I have to put it in here.. "Honey"!

What are your favourite movies to watch with your person? Romance or not! Let us know in the comments!

It's also nice at the end when you're cuddling with your person and sharing your thoughts on the movie - or if you're like me then dealing with all of the emotions this movie just caused you as you have tears streaming down your face. Lol why do we watch so many movies with sad endings?! Anyways, we all love a nice cuddling and talking sesh with our person!

SO, FOR THIS WEEK...

Pick a movie theme, set the scene, and have a movie marathon week/weekend with your person!

Enjoy your special relaxation time together! We hope you find some great new movies (or enjoying watching some old faves!)

Well that's all for this weeks Tips and Tea with S & E! ☕️💗

LET'S KEEP OUR RELATIONSHIP GROWING
AND OUR CONNECTION GLOWING!

xoxo
